CONFERENCE NEWS
ETSG 2005 Dublin
The conference in September at University College Dublin
was a huge success. Attendance was higher than anticipated, reinforcing our
claim to be the largest conference in international trade in the world. The
local organisation was excellent and we are grateful to local organisers Peter
Neary, Frank Barry, Dermot Leahy, Joe Tharakan, and Susan Muldoon for ensuring
that everything ran so smoothly. The size of the conference and the inclement
weather sadly meant that there was no "official" conference photograph taken
this year.
The next three conference locations and dates have been
agreed upon. These are:

Asia Pacific Trade Seminars
The
Asia Pacific Trade Seminars
were recently established as a complement to the
Midwest
International Trade Group and ETSG. The first meeting of APTS took place at
Hitotsubashi University on 30-31 July 2005. Next year's meeting will be at Kobe
University. Check their webpage for further details.
